Engraved Cased Iron Cross 1st Class 1914. Maker G.

In a very good, slightly worn condition. The core with most of the black paint, the frames with patina.
Marked on the reverse with „G“ for the company of Gebrüder Godet & Co., Berlin. With hand engraved ownership „Gefr. M. Müller LIR (/101 erk a 24.11.1916“ standing for Gefreiten M. Müller Landwehr Infanterie Regiment 101 erkämpft am 24.11.1916. Three piece construction and magnetic.
The fitting red/brown case also in a very good, slightly used condition. Embossed in silver on top of the lid a silver image of the cross. The inlet covered with beige velvet and the inside of the lid with white satin.
Very nice example of a hand engraved cross.
