Zinc based and in an excellent, absolutely unworn condition with all of the bronze wash still present. The magnetic backing plate with all of the blue(!) finish still present.
Marked on the reverse with „A.G.M.u.K.“ for the companys of Arbeitsgemeinschaft Metalle und Kunststoffe from Gablonz. See Thomas Durante, The German Close Combat Clasp, p.52/53, type 1.1.1.
It would appear that the factory mistakenly, or for lack of correct pins, used a gold plated pin on this example. Clearly showing the difference between the bronze and gold clasp.
