Luftwaffe Ground Assault Badge. Maker M.u.K. 5 -Facebook Auction-

Zinc based and in an excellent, probably unworn condition. The eagle attached with 3 rivets and with all of the silver plate. The wreath with all of the silver plate, the clouds and lightning bolt dark oxidised.
Marked on the reverse with „M.u.K. 5“ for the companys of Arbeitsgemeinschaft Metalle und Kunststoffe fro Gablonz. See GCA database.
A piece from early production of this type, the maker mark fully readable, with later manufacture the „5“ virtually disappears.
A difficult to find variant in very nice condition.
