Cased Luftwaffe Pilot Badge. Maker Juncker ((J1).

In a very good, barely worn condition. The wreath with all of the matt silver plate still present, the high points burnished and all with some patina. The eagle with practically all of the dark oxidised finish.
Marked on the reverse with the maker „C.E. Juncker BerlinS.W.“. So called thin wreath, first pattern or „J1“ type badge.
The fitting case in a very good, slightly used condition. Embossed in gold on top of the lid with the designation „Flugzeugführer Abzeichen“. The wooden inlet covered with blue velvet and the inside of the lid with blue satin.
Very nice early set.
