Cased Iron Cross 1st Class. Type Paul Meybauer (Early).

In a very good, barely worn condition. The core with all of the black paint. The ribbing in matt white silver, the flanges burnished and all with some patina.
Not marked but a known variation that has been attributed to the company of Paul Meybauer from Berlin. Three piece construction and magnetic. With the typical Meybauer type „fishtail“ pin.
The fitting case in a good, slightly used condition. Embossed in silver on top of the flat lid with an image of the cross. The inlet covered with beige velvet and the inside of the lid with white satin.
Nice early war set.
