A group of documents belonging to the Oberjägers Konrad Endler. Endler served with Fallschirmjäger Regiment 4 and was with them during the campaign in Italy and during the battle of Monte Casino eingesetzt.
Comprised of documents for:
– Black Wound Badge. Good condition with original signature.
– Iron Cross 2nd Class. Unusual pre-printed form with gothic type lettering and in a very good, slightly used condition. With original signature Generals der Fallschirmtruppe Richard Heidrich. Awarded for actions in Italy.
– Iron Cross 1st Class 1939. Good condition and awarded for the battle at Monte Casino.
– Four photos. Two original from the times and two modern prints.
Difficult to find paratrooper groups, especially for Monte Casino.
