Boxed Silver Close Combat Clasp. Maker GWL.

Zinc based and in a very good , probably unworn condition with nearly all of the silver plate still present and some slight patina. The magnetic backing plate with all of the dark finish.
Marked on the reverse with „GWL“ in a circle for the company of Gebrüder Wegerhoff from Lüdenscheid. See Thomas Durante, The German Close Combat Clasp.
The fitting cardboard box in a very good, slightly used condition. Printed on the lid with the designation „Nahkampfspange versilbert“. The corners fixed into place with metal staples. One corner of the lid with some damage, otherwise good.
Very difficult to find set in very nice condition.
