Blood Order group of the civil servant Lorenz Stadler. Born 1896 In Vienna. Comprised of:

– Medal of 8./9. November 1923 (Blood Order). 2nd pattern in an excellent, practically unworn condition with all of the original dark antique finish still present. Stamped on the reverse with the award number „3888“ and hallmarked below with the silver content „800“.
The tailored ribbon with 4 studs for attachment. The fitting 2nd pattern case in a very good, very slightly used condition. Embossed on the lid with the designation „8./9. November 1923“.

– Large award document with folder for the blood order. Red award folder with gold embossed national eagle and swastika. The folder in a very good, only very slightly used condition. In the folder the award document. Awarded on 31 October 1941 by Reichsschatzmeister Franz Xaver Schwarz. With very nice ink signature „Schwarz“. The certificate colored and very elaborately designed, with embossed seal. The Reichsschatzmeisters signature, the embossed stamp of the National Socialist Workers Party. The certificate in a very good, only minimally used condition.

– Bearers card or identity card. Complete with photo, very good, only slightly used condition. On the front a small, embossed national eagle with swastika. The text „document of ownership for the blood order of the NSDAP“, with image of the medal. Inside the bearers photo and text „possession = certificate for carrying the blood order No. 3888 of the NSDAP.“

– Certificate for the medal commemorating the 13th of March 1938 (Annexation of Austria Medal). Very good, only slightly used condition.

Complete Blood Order set. Only very few complete sets are known world wide with same name set of award, document and ID.

The Medal of Honor of November 9, 1923 / Blood Order was personally founded on the 10th anniversary of the „Nazi uprising on 9 November 1923“ (Hitler coup) by the leader of the NSDAP Adolf Hitler. The method of wearing was regulated by decree on February 11, 1934. On April 1, 1935, the awards were completed and awarding was discontinued.
On May 30, 1938, they were taken up again and the circle of winners was extended. This included all imprisoned in the Weimar Republic because of their fight for the movement of the NSDAP in Germany and Austria, they had to serve a prison sentence of at least 1 year. Presentation of the first model of the blood order were made from 1934 to 1935, altogether 1500 awards.
From the second model pieces are known with award numbers up to 4,300.
The Order of the Blood was considered the highest honor of the NSDAP.
