Cased Knights Cross of the Iron Cross 1939. Type, Early Klein & Quenzer.

In an excellent, unworn condition. The core with all of the black paint. The ribbing in matt white silver, the flanges burnished and all with some patina.
Hallmarked on the top of the frame with the silver content „800“. The springring also hallmarked with the silver content „800“. Three piece construction and magnetic.

An early K&Q type cross before the typical die flaw developed at the 12 o clock arm.
With a barely worn piece of Knights Cross ribbon. Length at approx. 35 cm.
The fitting case in a very good, barely used condition. The inlet covered with black velvet and the inside of the lid with white satin.
A very nice set.
