Shoulderboard S.M. Kaiser Wilhelm II., Leib-Kürassier-Regiment „Großer Kurfürst“ (Schlesisches) Nr. 1

A single shoulderboard of Kaiser Wilhelm II as commander of the Garde-Kürassier-Regiments. The white base material with a tongue for attachment to the uniform with black top colour material as the regimental colour.
The plaid of two gold and one silver cord and with attached silver crossed marshal batons metal devices with the initials of the regiment and of Wilhelm II with the prussian Kaiser crown above.
The metal threads darkened with patina but otherwise in a very good, barely worn condition.
This particular shoulderboard was given as a present from Wilhelm after his abduction in the time he lived in the villa at Doorn. Coming directly from the family and from the personal possessions of Wilhelm II.
