Tombak/brass based and in an excellent, probably unworn condition. The wreath with all of the matt silver plate, the high points burnished. The eagle with all of the dark oxidized finish and attached to the wreath with two typical rivets.
Marked on the reverse with „B&NL“ for the company of Berg & Nolte from Lüdenscheid.
The fitting case in a very good, slightly used condition. Embossed in gold on top of the lid with the designation „Luftwaffen Flugzeugführerabzeichen“. The inlet covered with blue velvet and the inside of the lid with blue satin.
