LDO Cased Iron Cross 1st Class 1914 with Attached Repetition Clasp 1939.

A jeweller made combination of cross and clasp and in a very good, slightly worn condition. The clasp with all of the silver plate still present. The core of the cross with all of the black paint. The ribbing in matt white silver, the flanges burnished and all with some patina.
Not marked but both known manufacture from the Godet company in Berlin. The cross three piece construction and magnetic.
The large LDO case, apart from the inlet being changed, in a good, slightly used condition. Embossed in silver on top of the lid with the 1st pattern LDO logo.
Very difficult to find set.
