Tombak/brass based and in an excellent, barely worn condition. The wreath with all of the matt silver plate still present, the high points burnished. The eagle with practically all of the dark oxidised finish and attached to the wreath with two typical rivets.
Marked on the reverse with the maker „C.E. Juncker BerlinS.W.“. So called thin wreath, 1st pattern or J1 type badge.
The fitting, early type case with the typical cloth type covering and embossed in gold on top of the lid with the designation „Flieger-Schützenabz.“. The wooden inlet covered with blue velvet and the inside of the lid with purple satin.
