Cased German Cross in Gold. Type Deschler, 6 Rivet, Short Pin.

The heavy tombak (65,5 g) based cross in an excellent, barely worn condition. The enamel without damage. The mirror with all of the silver plate still present and an even patina. The wreath with practically all of the gilt plate.
The top starburst with all of the grey paint, the bottom starburst with all of the silver plate and all with some patina.
Not marked but a known variation that has been attributed to the company of Deschler & Sohn, from Munich. See Dietrich März, The German Cross.
The fitting, small size case in an excellent, nearly like new condition. The inlet covered with black velvet and the inside of the lid with white satin. The outside of the lid with gold border.
Very difficult to find set in best condition.
