Cased & Cartoned Iron Cross 1st Class 1939. Maker 20.

In an excellent, unworn condition. The core with all of the black paint. The ribbing in matt white silver, the flanges burnished. Three piece construction and magnetic.
Marked on the underside of the pin with „20“ for the company of C.F. Firma Zimmermann, Pforzheim.
The case in a very good, nearly like new condition. Embossed in silver on top of the lid with a wide framed image of the cross.
The fitting outer carton in a good, slightly used condition. Printed on the top with the designation and on the side with the maker „C. F. Zimmermann Ordensfabrik, Pforzheim“.
Very difficult to find set. 20 marked crosses are not especially rare but in such condition hardly ever to be found. Or of the best Zimmermanns we have seen.
