Not marked but a known variation that has been attributed to the company of Assmann & Sohn, Lüdenscheid (A). Due to the shape of the wreath often referred to as the „egg shaped wreath. The very first pilot badge from Assmann.
The early type case in a very good, slightly used condition. Embossed in gold on top of the lid with the designation „Flugzeugführebz.“. The inlet covered with blue velvet and the inside of the lid with blue satin.
