LDO Cased Iron Cross 1st Class 1939. Maker 11 (Wilhelm Deumer).

In an excellent, unworn condition. The core with all of the black paint. The ribbing in matt silver the flanges burnished and all with some slight patina.
Marked on the reverse, under the hook with „11“ for the company of Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid. Difficult to find variant without the „L/“, only found on the early Deumer pieces, which fits to the early type tapering pin.
The fitting case in an excellent, nearly like new condition. Embossed in silver on top of the lid with the 1st pattern LDO logo and ink stamped on the underside with „L/11“ for the Deumer company.
Very difficult to find early set in excellent condition.
