Iron Cross 2nd Class 1939 in Envelope, „Little Brother Variant Frank & Reif.

In a very good, slightly worn condition. The core with all of the black paint still present. The ribbing in matt silver, the flanges burnished and all with some patina.
Not marked but a known variation that is commonly referred to as the „little brother“ variant and has been attributed to the company of Frank & Reif. Three piece construction and magnetic. With long unused ribbon.
The fitting envelope in a good, slightly used condition. Printed on the obverse with the designation and on the reverse with the maker „Frank & Reif, Stuttgart“.
