Tombak/brass based and in an excellent, unworn condition. The wreath with all of the matt gilt plate still present, the high points burnished. The eagle with all of the matt silver plate, the swastika burnished, and attached to the wreath with two typical rivets.
Marked on the reverse with „GWL“ in a circle for the company of Firma Gebrüder Wegerhoff, Lüdenscheid.
The fitting case in a very good, very slightly used condition. Embossed in gold on top of the lid with the designation „Flugzeugführer- u. Beobachter Abzeichen“. The inlet covered with blue velvet and the inside of the lid with blue satin.
