Iron Cross 2nd Class 1939 in Envelope. Type Little Brother, Frank and Reif.

In a very good, unworn condition. The core with all of the black paint still present, the frames with patina. Three piece construction and magnetic.
Not marked but a known variation that has been attributed to the company of Frank & Reif, Stuttgart. Also known as the „little brother“ as it has been manufactured using the same die as the Frank & Reif oversize or Knights Cross size Iron Cross 2nd Class (47mm). With long unused ribbon.
The fitting envelope in a good, somewhat used condition with signs of use and age. Printed on the obverse with the designation and on the reverse with the maker „Frank & Reif, Stuttgart“.
