Gold Operational Flight Clasp for Observer with Star Pendant. Possessions of Oberleutnant Franz Rödel

The clasp made of tombak/brass and in an very good, slightly worn condition with most of the matt gilt plate still present. The swastika and high points burnished. The eagle head with lots of the dark oxidised finish still present and attached to the badge with a single typical rivet.
The hanger made of zinc, one of the sides of the hanger broken(!).
Not marked but a known variation
