Cased Luftwaffe Observer Badge. Maker C.E. Juncker Berlin SW. 1st Pattern.

In a very good, worn condition. The wreath with most of the silver plate still present and some patina. The eagle with practically all of the dark oxidised finish and attached to the wreath with two typical rivets.
Marked on the reverse with the maker „C.E. Juncker Berlin S.W.“ so called thin wreath, 1st pattern or J1 type badge.
Das fitting case in a good, used condition. The rear right hand corner of the lid appears to be split. Embossed in gold on top of the lid with the designation „Beobachterabz.“. The inlet covered with blue velvet and the inside of the lid with blue satin.
