Group, Cholm Shield „Short M“ with Military Passbook, „Georg Lösch“.

Iron based and in a very good, unworn condition with practically all of the silver plate still present and some surface rust spots
Not marked but a known variation that is commonly referred to as the „Short M“ due to the short centre lines to the „M“. Complete with all three prongs, backing plate and field grey cloth covering.
Also the military passbook (Wehrpass) of the awardee Feldwebel Georg Lösch. Lösch served with Infanterie Regiment 386, which was a part of 218. Infanterie Division in the Cholm pocket.
The passbook in a very good, slightly used condition with all the pages and photo of Lösch.
As well as the Cholm Shield he was also awarded the Silver Wound Badge, Iron Cross 2nd Class, Eastern Front Medal and Infantry Assault Badge.
Very seldom seen awarded type Cholm Shield with the fitting military pass of the awardee.
