The heavy (65,6 g) Tombak based cross in a very good, probably unworn condition. The enamel in the swastika without damage, the mirror with all of the eggshell colour finish and some patina.
The laurel leaf wreath with practically all of the matt gilt plate still present, the high points burnished. The top starburst with all of the dark grey finish. The bottom starburst with all of the silver plate still present and some patina.
Marked on the underside of the pin with „20“ for the company of C.F. Zimmermann from Pforzheim. See Dietrich März, The German Cross, p.190 – 197.
The fitting and early pattern type case in a very good, barely used condition. The inlet covered with black velvet and the inside of the lid with white satin. The push button with mushroom shape head.
