Cased German Cross in Gold. Maker 21 + 16 mm Miniature, Hst. L/57

Tombak based, so called heavy (71,3 g) type. The enamel in the Swastika without damage. The mirror with all of the silver finish. The wreath with all of the matt gilt plate, the high points burnished. The top starburst with all of the grey finish, the bottom starburst with all of the silver plate still present and some patina.
Marked on the underside of the pin with „21“ for the company of Godet & Co., Berlin. See Dietrich März, The German Cross.
The fitting large case in a very good, slightly used condition. With gold stripe around the lid and mushroom head type push button. The inlet covered with black velvet and the inside of the lid with white satin.
Pinned inside of the lid the 16mm miniature. This in a very good, barely worn condition. Marked on the reverse with „L/57“ for the company of Boerger & Co., Berlin.
