German Cross in Gold. Type Steinhauer & Lück.

Cupal based and in a very good, probably unworn condition. The enamel without damage. The mirror with all of the silver plate still present and some patina. The laurel leaf wreath with practically all of the gilt plate.

The top starburst with all of the grey finish. The bottom starburst with all of the silver plate and some patina.
Not marked but a known variation that has been attributed to the company of Steinhauer & Lück from Lüdenscheid. See Dietrich März, The German Cross in Gold p.238 – 243. Such crosses are still being discussed with some being of the opinion that they were manufactured in early in 1945 while other sources think they are post war Steinhauer & Lück creations.
They are high quality, multi-piece manufacture.
Nice example of this highly debatable type cross.
