The tombak based and so called heavy (65,8 g) cross in a very good, slightly worn condition. The surface of the enamel with some surface scuffing but no breaks or chips. The mirror with all of the silver plate and some patina. The wreath with nearly all of the silver plate and an even patina.
The top starburst most all of the grey finish, some rubbing to the high points. The bottom starburst with all of the silver plate and some patina.
Not marked but a known variation that has been attributed to the company of Deschler & Sohn from Munich. See Dietrich März, The German Cross p.100 – 105. The only variation of this type of German Cross in Silver.
Extremly difficult to find.

Tombak/brass based, so called heavy type (65,3 g), and in an excellent, probably unworn condition. The enamel without damage. The mirror with all of the beige finish still present. The oakleaf wreath with practically all of the silver plate, the highpoints burnished and with some patina.
The top starburst with all of the finish still present. The bottom starburst with all of the silver plate, the tips burnished and with some patina.
