Cased Iron Cross 1st Class 1939. Maker 20 (C.F. Zimmermann).

In an excellent, unworn condition. The core with all of the black paint still present. The ribbing in matt silver, the flanges burnished and all with some slight patina.
Marked on the underside of the pin with „20“ for the company of C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim. Three piece construction and magnetic.
The fitting case in a very good, slightly used condition. Embossed in silver on top of the flat lid with an (Zimmerman typical) wide framed image of the cross.
Near best condition example which is very unusual for this otherwise relative common maker.
