Cased Iron Cross 1st Class 1939. Type Paul Meybauer.

In a very good, probably unworn condition. The core with all of the black paint, the frames with patina.
Not marked but a known variation that has been attributed to the company of Paul Meybauer from Berlin. With the characteristic „fish tail“ shaped pin. Three piece construction and magnetic.
The fitting case in a very good, slightly used condition. Embossed in silver on top of the flat lid with an image of the cross. The inlet covered with beige velvet and printed on the white satin inside of the lid with the fitting maker „Paul Meybauer Berlin“.
Early set in very nice condition.
