Cased Iron Cross 1st Class, Schinkel Pattern. Type Wilhelm Deumer, Non-Magnetic.

In an excellent, absolutely unworn condition. The core with all of the black paint still present. The ribbing in matt silver and the flanges burnished and all with some slight patina.
Not marked but a known variation that has been attributed to the company of Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid. Three piece construction and non-magnetic.
The fitting early type case in a very good, slightly used condition. Embossed in silver on top of the lid with an image of the cross. The inlet covered with beige velvet and the inside of the lid with white satin.
Best condition Schinkel cross. Very difficult to find.
