Iron Cross 2nd Class 1939 in Envelope. Type Paul Meybauer.

In an excellent, unworn condition. The core with all of the black paint. The ribbing in matt white silver, the flanges burnished and all with some patina.
Not marked but a known variation that has been attributed to the company of Paul Meybauer from Berlin (7 or L/13). Three piece construction and magnetic. With long unused ribbon.
The fitting small blue envelope, in a heavily used condition, repaired in places with sticky tape. Printed on the obverse with the designation and on the reverse with the maker „Paul Meybauer Berlin SW68“.
