Cased Luftwaffe Board Mechanic Badge. Maker B&NL

Zinc based and in an excellent, probably unworn condition. The wreath with all of the silver plate still present. The eagle with most of the dark oxidised finish and attached to the wreath with two typical rivets.
Marked on the reverse with „B&NL“ for the company of Berg & Nolte, Lüdenscheid. Manufactured without lighting bolts and not removed later.
The fitting case in a good, slightly used condition. Embossed in gold on top of the lid with the designation „Bordmechanikerabz.“. The inlet covered with blue sprayed felt and the inside of the lid with blue satin.
Nice condition late war set.
