Cased Luftwaffe Radio Operator Badge. Maker CEJ.

Tombak/brass based and in a very good, slightly worn condition. The wreath with all of the silver plate still present and some patina, the swastika and high points burnished. The eagle with most of the dark oxidised finish and attached to the wreath with two typical rivets.
Marked on the reverse with „CEJ“ for the company of C.E. Juncker, Berlin. So called thin wreath or 2nd pattern badge (J2).
The fitting case in a very good, slightly used condition. Embossed in gold on top of the lid with the designation „Bordfunkerabz..“. The wooden inlet covered with blue velvet and the inside of the lid with blue satin.
Extremely difficult to find early set.
