Tombak/brass based and in an excellent, probably unworn condition. The wreath with all of the silver plate still present. The swastika and high points burnished and all with some patina. The eagle with practically all of the dark oxidised finish and attached to the wreath with two rivets.
Marked on the reverse with the maker „C.E. Juncker BerlinS.W.“. So called flat wreath, first pattern or J1 type badge.
The fitting case in a very good, slightly used condition. Embossed in gold on top of the lid with the designation „Luftwaffen Fliergschützen Abzeichen“. The inlet covered with blue velvet and the inside of the lid with blue satin.
Nice early example.
