Cased Luftwaffe Air Gunner Badge. Maker W.Deumer Lüdenscheid.

Zinc based and in a very good, slightly worn condition. The wreath with all of the silver plate still present and some patina. The eagle with practically all of the dark oxidised finish and attached to the wreath with two typical rivets.
Marked on the reverse with the maker „W. Deumer Lüdenscheid“. Originally made without the lighting bolts.
The fitting case in a good, somewhat used condition with some signs of use and age. Embossed in gold on top of the lid with the designation „Luftwaffen Fliegerschützen Abzeichen“. The inlet covered with blue sprayed felt and the inside of the lid with blue satin.
