Cased Radio Operator. Maker C.E. Juncker Berlin S.W. (J.1), Early Case Bordfunkerabz.

Tombak/brass based and in an excellent, probably unworn condition. The wreath with all of the matt silver plate still present and some patina. The eagle with most of the dark oxidised finish and attached to the wreath with two typical rivets.
Marked on the reverse with the maker „C.E. Juncker BerlinS.W.“. So called thin wreath, first pattern or J1 type badge.
The fitting case in a very good, nearly like new condition. Embossed in gold on top of the lid with the designation „Bordfunkerabz.“. The wooden inlet covered with blue velvet and the inside of the lid with blue satin.
Exceptional example of an early quality set.
