Cased Luftwaffe Combined Pilot & Observer Badge. Type Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid (FLL).

Tombak/brass based and in an excellent, probably unworn condition. The wreath with all of the matt gilt plate still present, the high points burnished. The eagle with all of the silver plate, the swastika burnished. Attached to the wreath with two typical rivets.
Not marked but a known variation that has been attributed to the company of Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid (FLL). With the typical laying down block hinge.

The fitting case in a very good, slightly used condition. Embossed in gold on top of the lid with the designation „Luftwaffen Flugzeugführer- u. Beobachter Abzeichen“.
Difficult to find set in best condition.
