Luftwaffe Honour Goblet. Wehrmacht High Command Unit, Hans Bölting

A group from the belongings of the Feldwebel Hans Bölting. Hans Bölting served with Aufklärungsgruppe Oberbefehlshaber der Luftwaffe (Aufklärugsgruppe Ob. d. L.). This special observer group was under the direct command of the armed forces high command and carried out observer missions in a height of 9.000 metre. Feldwebel Bölting was killed in 1943 during a mission over Russia.

– Document for the Silver Operational Flight Clasp for Observer. Good condition with original signature.

– Document for the gold Operational Flight Clasp for Observer. Good condition with original signature.

– Document for the Eastern Front Medal.

– Accompanying letter to the Eastern Front Medal.

– The envelope addressed to the father in which the document for the Eastern Front Medal was sent.

– Nice portrait photo (10 x 14,5 cm), Hans Bölting (left) next to his pilot.

– Luftwaffe Honour Goblet for Achievement in Aerial Warfare. Very good condition without dings or dents and with an even patina.
Marked on the underside with the maker „Joh. Wagner & Sohn“ and the material „Feinsilber Auflage Alpaka.
Awarded on 15.10.1942. Very nice goblet.

– A gift from his comrades commemorating his 110 mission. Aluminium, handmade and painted. The mission number „110“ in an oak leaf wreath and with a chain to hang around the neck. A typical item from the times that is often seen on photos but seldom remains in groups.

A very nice and interesting group directly from the family.
