WW1 Observer Estate Erich Poser. Last Try!

The later Colonel (Luftwaffe) served in the 1st World War as an observer with Feldfliegerabteilung 17.
He took part in many operations on both the Western and Eastern fronts. From 25.4.1917 he was the commandant of the observer school in Thorn. After the war he serves with the Garde-Kavallerie-Schützenkorps Berlin (Freikorps). Later as a Major with the Prussian Police. In 1934 he was drafted back into the Luftwaffe. He died 1941 as Oberst der Luftwaffe (Colonel) and Werhbezirkskommandeur (area commander)Frankfurt/ Main.

The estate comprises:

– Five documents from before 1914, promotions, certificates etc.

– Document Armed Forces Loyal Service Awards 4.-2. classes.

– Document Armed Forces Loyal Service Award 1st Class.

– Large promotion document to Oberst.

– Document for the War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords.

– Large personal file with many papers concerning his military career.

– Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914. Good condition.

– Iron Cross 1st Class 1914. Good condition.

– Saxony, Albrecht Order, Knights Cross 1st Class with Swords.

– Prussian Observer Badge, Tombak/brass based and in a very good,slightly worn condition with all of the silver plate still present and some patina, the enamel without damage. Not marked but a known variation that has been attributed to the company of C.E Juncker from Berlin.

– Prussian Aircrew Commemorative Badge. Hollow stamped with attached base and in a very good, slightly worn condition with all of the silver plate still present and some patina. Type Paul Meybauer.

– Hindenburg Cross for Combatants.

– Armed Forces Loyal Service Medal for 12 Years in the Luftwaffe. Iron based and in a very good, slightly worn condition with all of the gilt plate still present.

– Armed Forces Loyal Service Award for 25 Years in the Luftwaffe. Tombak/brass based and in a very good,slightly worn condition with all of the gilt plate still present.

– War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords. Tombak/brass based and in a very good,slightly worn condition.

– Ribbon Bar. Good condition.

Complete and untouched group directly from the family. Never in collector hands.
