Group, Tank Destruction Badge, Africa.

A group of items from the possessions of the Feldwebel Karl Weidner. Weidner served with Panzer Grenadier Regiment 200 in Africa. He was captured middle of 1943 by American forces near Tripoli.
Comprised of :

– Two photos, the reverses with dedications.
– Document for the Black Wound Badge. Awarded in Africa.
– Letter as A prisoner of war and his release papers.
– His paybook. A few pages missing but the side with the tank destruction badge entered still present.
– A worn piece of Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon.
– Special Badge for single hand destruction of a tank. Good, slightly worn condition. The tank made of Iron. Complete with all three prongs, backing plate and typical covering. Not marked but a known variation that has been attributed to the company of Moritz Hausch, Pforzheim
