Silver Close Combat Clasp in LDO Cello Envelope. Type Deschler.

Zink based and in an excellent, unworn condition with all of the silver plate still present and some patina. The magnetic backing plate with all of the dark oxidised finish still present.
Not marked but a known variation that has been attributed to the company of Deschler & Sohn from Munich. See Thomas Durante, The German Close Combat Clasp.
Still with the original cellophane envelope. This dry and cracked and with the typical splits and breaks from age but complete in all parts. Printed on the obverse with the LDO logo (Leistungsgemeinschaft Deutscher Ordenshersteller) and on the reverse with the quality guarantee.
Deschler clasps of any grade are seldom seen. A very difficult to find set, especially in such condition.
