In an excellent, probably unworn condition. The core with all of the black paint. The ribbing in matt silver and the flanges burnished with some slight patina.
Marked on the frame at the 12 o clock arm with „4“ for the company of Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid. Hallmarked on the frame and spring ring with the silver content „935“. See Dietrich März, The Knights Cross of the Iron Cross p. 122 – 125. With approx. 40 cm original ribbon.
Difficult to find and in a very good condition.
