In a very good, slightly worn condition. The core with practically all of the black paint still present. The frames burnished and all with some patina.
Hallmarked on the frame with the silver content „800“ . The spring ring also Hallmarked with „800“ and the code „65“ for the company of Klein & Quenzer from Oberstein. See Dietrich März, The Knights Cross of the Iron Cross 1939, p.194 – 204.
From the belongings of the SS-Sturmbannführer Karl-Heinz Schulz-Streeck, Commander of SS-Sturm Geschütz Abt. 11″Nordland“. Awarded on 15.2.1945. The estate of Schulz-Streeck was split up and sold several years ago. Some pieces, such as his German Cross were sold by us, pictures can be found in our online archive. Other images, including the Knights Cross can be found with a Google search.
