Gottlieb Renz, born on 12.9.1911 in Pfullingen/Reutlingen. SS number 60.784, last known rank SS-Hauptsturmführer. Knights Cross awarded on 12.8.1944 for his brave and decisive actions against the attacking Soviet forces on the Finnish front. From November 1944 until January 1945 he was commander of SS-Schützen-Bataillons (Mot.) 6 „Nord“. Fallen 3.1.1945 in the Elsaß region.
